A Message from Jon Engels

Hey friends,

As we transition into fall and prepare for more cool-weather months ahead, we know preventative maintenance will be heavy on the minds of fleet managers. With slow production of new trucks, heavy-duty operators are again anticipating having to spend more on maintenance and repairs. At Luber-finer, we’re committed to helping our customers control these costs with filters that are designed to help fleets improve performance and maximize equipment life.

In this issue of Finer-Print, we take a closer look at how the CHIPS and Science Act may impact new truck production and the ability for large fleets to control overhead costs. We’ll remind fleet maintenance teams what they should be thinking about as they prepare fuel systems for winter and what they can do to get the most out of their air filters.

On the topic of education, we also have some big news to share about our free online training program, Luber-finer University. Starting October 15, we will launch our second rewards program to encourage new participants and previous enrollees to complete all 9 of our modules. This time around, there are bigger and even better prizes to be won! To learn more, visit http://luberfinerwp.dhchicagostaging.com/university-promo/.

With this rewards program and the VIPAR Heavy-Duty IMPACT Conference October 17-21 in Marco Island, Fla., we are looking forward to re-engaging our customers and ending the year on a high note.

Best,
Jonathan Engels
