A Message from Jon Engels

Hello friends,

I hope all of you were able to relax and revel in time well spent with family and friends during the holidays. I love this time of year as it gives us a chance to rest, recalibrate and refocus on what is most important in our lives.

As we prepare to go full steam ahead into 2023, I can’t help but feel a renewed sense of optimism that we can continue putting the supply chain disruptions of the past few years in the rearview mirror.

In this issue of Finer-Print, we explore the rise of renewable diesel production and the various benefits for fleets from reduced emissions to maintenance costs. We’ll give you a quick rundown on the findings of the North American Council for Freight Efficiency’s newly released Annual Fleet Fuel Study, an update on the last-mile delivery market and provide some helpful tips on what you should look for when your defrost system takes longer than usual to clear condensation from your windshield.

Also, trade show season started on a high note with one of the industry’s biggest conferences of the year – Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week!

Last but not least, we’ll wrap up this issue with an announcement about our Luber-finer University incentive program. Thank you to everyone who participated so far and took the time to complete our filtration education program!
